I'm not about to look these movies up. I'm not going to see which one came out first. I'm not going to compare plots. Shame on both of you, I don't even care. I hope you're proud of yourselves for confusing old people at Blockbuster.

The Black dahlia is release first... in 2006, and the lodger in 2008.
The Black Dahlia is inspired by a real unsolved crime of Elizabeth Short in 1947.
